Returns & Refunds Policy
We have a 14-days return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at mail@minzara.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
All shipping return charges must be pre-paid at your cost. We cannot accept cash on delivery returns. We require that returned items are insured during delivery (such as Australia Post 'Extra Cover') to safeguard against loss. Minzara will pay for any reasonable return shipping costs if the return is the result of our error or the item is received damaged or defective. Please return your order back to us in the original packaging it came in (or smaller), no oversized or large boxes will be accepted (as this increases shipping rates). Minzara will not be responsible for increased postage costs due to large packaging and where Minzara is liable for return shipping fees, reserves the right to reimburse you for reasonable shipping costs only, and not for any unreasonable or excessive shipping fees incurred.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
We will not provide refund for the item/s when:
- The piece/pieces is not returned in its original condition and packaging
- Has been worn, scratched, damaged or with signs of wear and tear
- If the piece is custom made/personalized/engraved/monogrammed
- If the item is returned outside of the timeframe stated above
- If a product is damaged after delivery due to customer misuse or neglect
- If the piece is earrings, due to sanitary reasons we cannot accept returns
Minzara has the sole discretion to determine if the item matches the original condition when processing refunds. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item (depends on stock availability).
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your returned item and let you know if the refund is approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method, excluding any delivery charges, within 15 business days of receiving your returned item. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
Minzara Authenticity and Warranty
Minzara uses only genuine gemstones and 925 Stirling silver for all its pieces. Most of your authentic Minzara jewellery are stamped with 925 and mz logo. However, some items can be very small to bear the stamp.
Minzara’s customers are protected under Australian Consumer Warranty. The ACL aims to protect consumers and ensure fair trading in Australia. Under the ACL, consumers have the same protections, and businesses have the same obligations and responsibilities, across Australia. If Minzara fails to meet a guarantee, the remedy may be: a repair, replacement or refund.
As of the Australian Protection Law, consumers who buy products from Minzara will have the guarantee that the products will be similar and are of acceptable quality which meets the description given for each product in the website. Minzara will keep the promises made about the products like warranties, replacement and refunds. The products shown in website will be similar to the products dispatched and may not be identical as genuine gemstones are produced by nature under different conditions making them appear slightly different in appearance. Minzara guarantees that reasonable steps will be taken to provide a replacement or refund in reasonable time for any product defects.
